Riptide Cafe - Arcata

Riptide is a lovely coffee shop, but I was sad to find out that each size gets 2 shots of espresso, and I got charged for a straw. Normally not a huge deal, but if asked, I would have said no to the straw, and I would have happily provided a personal cup if I thought they'd use it. After adding a flavor, my 20oz iced americano was $6.25. When I go out of town, I love stopping at random coffee shops, but the breakdown on this one hurt a bit.

The customer service and public relations here are outstanding. Molly runs the place and she’s definitely my favorite! Just a tip, steer clear of Dutch Bros; she’s got an eye on that too! But in all seriousness, Riptide and its staff are my go-to for coffee at the drive-thru. Always sending love and aloha!

The flavors were amazing, but the food could have been served a bit warmer. Other than that, the coffee and sandwiches were outstanding!

Absolutely amazing! The person who prepared my coconut milk cinnamon matcha really knows their craft; it was the best matcha I've ever tasted!
