The waitress was very friendly, eating was average. we ordered many dishes and thought that pastas were more beautiful than pizzas.
Tasting, wood stove and simple menu. If you are looking for a chain restaurant, this is now made to house, in a family-run pizzeria. I've been here for 30 years, and this place is Italian perfection. in a large open tile room, with a large outside veranda, with a bladder poster of the Italian football team from wm 1982, this is an experience that you should not miss. and completely charming. oh, and it's really fantastic value for money!
My man had pizza, I had a kaprese salat tomaten, basil mozzarella). like everything in the toskana it was fresh, well prepared, simple and tasty. we shared a 1/4 l white wine frizzante a little fizzy) that was fantastic!
Have just had the most miserable lunch of all time in Italy. Not that the food was bad, it was the service. The guy who greeted us was the most miserable, unwelcoming person ever to work in a restaurant in Italy. We should have just...turned around and left. He also was unable to use the credit card machine and after many false starts he managed to have both mine and my wife's credit cards rejected!!! If you are ever in the Arcidosso area please do yourself a favour and give it a miss. Dreadful.
