El Retiro - Arcos de la Frontera

When you drive into the town coming from Jerez side past the Repsol garage you find El Retiro bar and restaurant. The bar is popular especially at lunch times but in the back you have a large dining room with windows overlooking the park and offering nice views towards the famous old town of Arcos. The lunch is of good quality yet simple and very affordable. Never busy and well worth stopping if touring the area or merely wanting a room with a view and a bite.

We had drinks here only. I really enjoyed the view. My boyfriend had a great coffee. I found the milkshake a bit boring it tasted like strawberry milk rather than a proper milk shake. Otherwise great place.

La comida es deliciosa y la carta de menú es muy extensa, a un precio competitivo. El servicio de los camareros es muy bueno también.

Un pequeño restaurante local limpio que ofrece un buen menú del día a un precio de 7€.

A real authentic place, huge portion, nice service!
