Arena Cheese is a true hidden gem, even though it clearly isn’t with its giant mouse and wedge of cheese out front. How could it be anything but amazing when it's the home of co-jack cheese? Upon entering, you're greeted with a delightful variety of cheeses, and for cheese enthusiasts like my family, there's also a bulk selection in the back that frequently changes. You can find options like Colby, co-jack, Gouda, Swiss, cheddar, and our favorite, the Colby/co-jack calamente. There's a large viewing window that overlooks the production area, and if you're lucky, the owner might be there to explain the cheese-making process, or one of the many friendly staff members will be ready to assist you. And don’t forget to grab some fresh squeaky cheese curds while you’re there!
