This caffe is combined with a Zero waste shop and they can fill their own travel coffee. the food is good and fresh and they have a great tea selection! friendly people too.
I love the atmosphere, the personal service and the delicious salads.
As the only fully vegan place in many miles, this is as good as it gets at thr moment. I have eaten lunch here on one occasion. Raw food was good, filling and whpb friendly. Dropped in for dessert on another the cake was rich, somewhat too sweet, but very tasty. I think it is good, but with prices higher than neccessary even as a vegan I have to think twice before eating there, and I'm afraid the prices may put people off of trying the food. Ill update with future visits if neccessary. Shares the locale with a zero waste shop, which makes it a wonderful combination. Sadly, also there are prices mich higher than most people can afford, I believe.
I moved from Arendal to the UK in 2012 and became a vegan March 2014. When I moved back to Arendal in 2017, I was happily surprised to discover there's a vegan cafe in town... YAY! I tasted their Caribbean inspired soup with mango and cauliflower coconut rice and loved it so much I chose to celebrate my birthday there with some of my friends. Prana Cafe's raw crispbreads, packed with seeds and other goodies, are also super yummy. And don't gt me started on their desserts. Mmmmmm! Can totally recommend the cafe, not just because it's the only vegan one in town (so far , but based on the quality of their food alone. And the interior is cozy as well, on the 2nd floor in a restored wooden building with lots of windows bringing in the sunlight light. The cafe even offers beautiful handmade porcelain mugs in a number of designs for sale. Bought one with butterflies painted all over it, big enough to use for soup or a BIG cup of tea. ;
