It was wonderful but a lot...of food! My favorite from what we sampled was the Hawaiian roll. I would definitely recommend Misti Sushi also to sit at one of the 2 low tables if you can!
We came at an odd time of day for a late lunch so the place was deserted. I can imagine it having a lovely atmosphere in the evenings though. The upside of this was lightning fast service and super fresh sushi. You can get 6...half rolls for 75 soles and that 's what we did, so 30 pieces of sushi which was ample for two of us. There was the classic California roll etc, but also some of the chef 's own creations, including one with crispy fish skin inside which was savoury and crunchy and went beautifully with the variety of sauces we were brought. Another winner was the magma roll a riff on the restaurant 's volcano namesake, perhaps, which came with a topping of orange coloured smoked trout 'magma ' inventive and delicious. Another roll had a lemony kick to it which was zesty and light. Passion fruit iced juice and gaseosa at 3 soles each accompanied our meal and we left a happy pair. This place is a little out of the centre (do NOT use TA 's map, it is wrong check the restaurant 's website). Either taxi or walk it to work up your appetite.
Misti Sushi is the best sushi in Arequipa. Great selection and delicious. On Thursdays there is a 4 for 3 promotion.
