Feedback gevenWe fell by chance on this restaurant during a city walk from our hotel. it looked interesting and proposed interesting choices - most of which we did not really understand! So we went to dinner there. it's a really charming place with a school theme, offices, a corner for children - very cute and original. our server was amazing - it patiently explained each dish and was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered a 3-course meal of the "menu teacher" which is 22 euros. Given the quality of the food, it was reasonable. We ordered landais salad, salmon roast (booked with fries, a small salad and an incredible sauce) and lemon pie for dessert. my friend always asks for his bleeding salmon and rarely gets it, but here he was cooked exactly as she asked. lemon pie was excellent and nicely presented with a drop of tree-shaped chocolate - in fact, everything was pretty presented. I couldn't ask for a better meal in a charming restaurant with excellent staff!
This is written a few weeks later, we were in a hotel on the other side of the road, so very practical. as our French is really bad, there was a great deal of luck, we had a nice duck salad and a palourdes dish, as well as good desserts. the invoice was also reasonable
The rain was torrential in the evening we ate in the table, we were at the small inn just around the corner and had chosen the closest to the places recommended by the hotel owner, anne sophie. the first impressions were good, although I have difficulty reading French arty writing and I had to ask the young waitress to explain some things to me. having not very hungry, we ordered two entries and a bottle of wine (white). when the bottle arrived, it was at room temperature, almost warm and unbreakable. the waitress said that she could not replace the bottle as it had been opened, but after further protests, she met the owner, who agreed to replace the bottle with a refrigerated bottle. I had chosen the shrimp, and although correct, they were under-sealed and slightly insipid, but dessert was compensating that. I chose floating islands, and it was great, maybe the best I had. the only other negative point was the invoice, expensive for only two entries, a wine and a dessert, but overall we enjoyed the experience.
We had lunch here. good location for us. good service and excellent food overall. prices are reasonable for the proposed quality. I would recommend. b
