Enoteca Omar - ARGEGNO

We went to Enoteca Omar several times during our stay in Argegno, Lake Como. Not only were the drinks delicious but the aperitivos the bar owner brought out were great quality and a lovely addition which you don't get back home. A whole fresh pizza for example! Upon learning it was our last night in Argegno, Omar the owner even gave us a gift! Great vibe and awesome owner. Thanks Omar!

Our hosts from Pigra met friends here while we hiked down from Pigra we then joined in the casual drinks and food. Located right on the square at Argegno this is a very easy place to find. Sometimes spots like these rely on their location for customers, but on the day we visited it was not the case. Super friendly knowledgable staff, good chilled bubbles beers, excellent food with some free snacks (as is the Italian way), excellent clean facilities and good value overall. They have a outdoors motorised awning for protection from the weather. This would be a great spot to wait for the ferry or buses.

We stumbled on Omar when we couldn’t find an open gelateria on a late December evening. I never expected the young owner, Omar, to be so knowledgeable about wine or able to understand his guest’s palate so quickly, but after pointing out one wine we had enjoyed, by the second taste he poured one of our favorite glasses of wine during our trip to Italy. The thin crust pizza was just the way I like it and the cured beef carpaccio was a perfect compliment. The restaurant is small, cozy, and very reasonably priced.

Ottimo locale per aperitivi con ampia scelta di vini e cocktail!! Ottima atmosfera, vista lago e staff simpatico.

In un angolo suggestivo del paese. Atmosfera accogliente. Ottimi aperitivi. Omar, il proprietario è molto cordiale e discreto. Birra spillata davvero buona, accompagnata da taglieri di ottimi formaggi e salumi. Scelta di vini ampia. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.
