Pavillion Cafe - Argyll Bute

I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The staff was helpful and friendly, the place was very clean, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great as well.

Visited the park with my niece while staying with family and had lunch at the Pavilion cafe. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. The Eggs Pavilion dish was beautifully presented. I will definitely return next time I visit my family.

I was shocked to discover that, even though the cafe was open, they refused to sell us a takeaway cup of tea at 3:45 because there was nobody else waiting. It was even more surprising that they stopped serving food after 3:30, despite having at least three staff members working. It seems pointless to have a cafe in a park filled with summer holiday visitors next to a popular kids playground and not offer basic refreshments. This place needs a serious management shake-up. This experience has been a new low in customer service.

Although advertised online cafe closes at 4 pm i entered at 2.50 to be told hot drinks are not served after 2.45. What was more a kick in the teeth a woman had skipped in front of me was served hot drinks I also had to wait over 5 mins while a woman couldn't get her card to work inbtheir machine. Im in the park constantly walking my dog but I'll never set foot in the cafe again.
