I then ordered a Cullen and tuna sandwich, but was told they were out of tuna. Instead, they offered a fish wrap. I decided to give it a try, and for the first time ever, I had a fried fish and mushy pea wrap. It was amazing! I highly recommend it.
Visited for lunch today with a friend while just passing through the town and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here! Being vegan, I worry a little about finding options when I’m somewhere quite rural but there were a couple of options for me to choose from. I had the lemon, houmous and courgette wrap with (brilliantly crispy) chips. The lady who served us was really helpful in double checking that the wrap would be suitable for me, nothing was too big a problem. My friend had the tomato soup, BLT and salad which she said where both lovely also. The baked goods displayed on the counter looked amazing, I noticed a few gluten free options which I’m sure are appreciated but would have loved to see a dairy and egg-free option too! Will definitely return when I’m next in that part of the world!
We visited here last Sunday although no thanks to the signage which was at best extremely poor. Eventually we parked up and had some lunch, the staff were friendly and the food nice. The place was incredibly echoing which made it difficult to hear. The place could do with some soft furnishings to help with the noise .
There Saturday evening dinner is very good value for money £18 for a 3 course meal. The food is cooked fresh from local produce, staff are really friendly and the restaurant is spotless. Finally the service is extremely good.
Great food, well presented and freshly cooked.. thoroughly recommend this place , coffee was also good
