Divine Briam, spectacular boujourdi, excellent greek salad in its essentiality. Grilled squids (proven twice) really good. If there was the sixth star, I'd give it to her.
Kind, attentive, fast service. Perhaps the best tavern we have eaten at in all of Karpathos. Daily specials consumed outdoors on a tiny, narrow walkway at an incline. Simple and well-prepared local island food, at a fair and low price point. Drinks are served instantly and first while guests can dig through the menu. Hot flat bread follows with olive mousse as an appetizer. This seems obvious, but strangely, is not the standard in Karpathos. We have not had this kind of service and attention at any restaurant during our two-week exploration of the island and wondered why, although this is common on other islands and throughout Europe. Karpathos remains fascinatingly old, cryptic, and somewhat inaccessible and expensive, except here, where it is easy to mingle with, chat with and eat like a local.
Very authentic. Mad Musaka, top Gyros, good appetizers and innovative vegetarian alternatives.
Taverna attended, we waited about 30 minutes to get rid of a table. Typical Greek cuisine, good value for money
Best pork gyros I've had in a long time. Very attentive and friendly waiter, good vibes overall.
