City Kabob Curry House - Arlington

This place was horrendous; it was terrible. All the food was sweet when it was supposed to be spicy, and the customer service is terrible. Everything overall is bad. Go here if you want to waste money.

I came here for dinner with a friend the other night he had the Lamb Kadai and I got the Combo #2 (Kabob 3 pieces of Chicken and 3 pieces of Lamb). The food was very good my lamb and chicken were especially well seasoned and not overcooked(which happens often at the local Kabob spots) though I think the chickpeas really stole the show for me. Not sure what was inthe sauce but it encouraged me to make a few makeshift wraps with the naan bread, chickpeas, rice, and one of the proteinaccompaniments. In all honesty I seriously considered giving this place 4 stars (the food was def upper echelon and I willreturn, but 5 stars on food alone for a quick eatery means it 's really special in my book) but the friendliness of the two guysworking pushed it over the edge for me. They were both very jovial (I think one of them came over 3 times throughout the mealjust to check to see if we needed anything else and to be fair, I was eating with a good friend so we were chopping it up fora while and ate pretty slowly). All in all just a good experience. I think we may have found a new post tennis dinner spot.

I?ve tried at least 4 different halal spots in the area since falling in love with the cuisine after moving here from Ga and they are by far my favorite. The customer service is great. The food has so much flavor and is reasonably priced, and thelocation is convenient. I ate half of my food earlier and couldn?t wait till I got hungry again to finish it lol. My only tinycomplaint would be more of a salad with the entree.

Delicious food. Fresh and yummy. Even my toddlers approved. The roti was fresh and nicely buttered. Green Chutney was the right level of spicy. Posting a photo of 2 Platter no. 18.

The owner and his uncle work VERY hard to make you feel very welcome in their small establishment while serving some of the best curries and grilled lamb we've ever had. We try and go at least once per week even though they're not in our city. Keep up thegreat job guys!!
