Feedback gevenIt is always a bad service as you go to NO Greeting, the staff always look crazy, the girls in the meat area, are so rude one of them not even say how can I help you, they only see you like what you want. The cashier doesn't even say good afternoon or morning, don't even say thank you or nothing.......... Please don't waste your time and money here
TL;DR Produce can be really expensive, no form of food when I visited, suspiciously looking at night. I wanted to see if this was a decent place where I could get fresh products while I also had the advantage that it was just a few minutes walk from my place. PROCEDURE AND PRICE: For the size of the shop, it has a quite decent selection of products, but the prices were ridiculous; $5 for a 16 ounce pack Straberries! You can get a 2lb pack for the same price at Walmart, I know that production is not cheap and that competition with Walmart is hard for a smaller business like this, but the prices were too high for me. NO MOLD: I can say that I have not seen any mold on any of the products I have inspected, I have been paying particular attention because there were other reviews complaining about mold dishes. DODGY AT NIGHT: The location was also in a rather dodgy-looking neighborhood, I would not go alone here.
Cute were not fresh with mold in packaging terrible.
I bought a pound of carnitas. When I came home, I discovered that it had Madenlarva. I'll never buy from this dirty place again!
The atmosphere here is fully Mexicana, which is perfect in an area of town that is likely 50% Hispanic. In limited space they have a nice taqueria that serves good breakfasts and draws enough of a working man's crowd to fill the few tables easily at lunch. The produce department has improved noticeably in recent months. I saw mangos bigger than cantaloupes there last week. The staff are most comfortable speaking Spanish, but handle my English just fine. The selection is limited so there may be items you can't find--no black olives, for instance--but it's the only grocery store in the immediate neighborhood, so I go there frequently and see no reason to stop.
