I wanted to come by since I was at work in Arlington. One of my colleagues had recommended it, and I really wanted to check it. I wasn't disappointed. Since I was in a hurry, I ordered half a rack (two cattle ribs) and their spicy frits along with some sweet tea. A very courteous seller took the order and a pleasant server brought it in five minutes. The beef ribs were thick delicate and juicy and only required a little of their ature sweet BBQ sauce to take it over the top. The pommes were anything but spicy, but were hot and fresh with definitely some kind of spice on them. Sweet tea was fabulous. Although at $33 (with a basic tip, military discount and taxes) the food was expensive, I will definitely come back for more ribs!

Great grill, good prices, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. I had the tree meat plate and chose the Briske, pulled pork and smoked sausage. For the pages I had the mint cucumber salad and the Mexican maissalate. Flavor was amazing! Brisket was smokey and tasty, delicate and juicy. The pulled pig was not so wet, but also not dry. Full of Floa or I decided to try the house BBQ sauce just to try it out. The sausage was grilled for perfection. It was shaken with onions and peppers and full of amazing taste. My pages were a perfect addition to all meats. Fresh cucumber with a hint of mint and spices. The corn dish was very delicious and fresh. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great BBQ.

Rockland lives up to the BBQ legend. The facility is great and has many eyes of sweets besides the amazing food. There are about 25 parking spaces and street parking, tons of seats inside and outside.

Delicious barbecue beef short rib, with collar and macaroni salad. Sweet mint tea. The sink in the dining area has foot pedals, good to know. The menu has expanded in the last few years, but the classics are still as good as ever.

Went here on a Sunday evening close to closing time, which is probably why it looks quiet in the photos. I had a wonderful three meat platter with collard greens cole slaw. Succulent sauces too; just a little dab compliments the meat. And I ordered some grilled wings that had a great bark on em! I’m definitely coming back soon.
