Oak Mill Bakery - Arlington Heights

The worst bakery ever! If I could give it 0 star I would. Staff is super unfriendly and inflexible. They absolutely don?t care about the customers. They send them to websites to order while you are at the location! Arlington Heights branch especially.This is not the first time this has happened. The quality has significantly decreased and their corporate is an absolute joke!Go somewhere else if you are looking for a custom cake or want a nice service.

We chose Oak Mill Bakery for our wedding and rehearsal cakes based on the recommendation of my husband's sister who used them 10 years ago. We were so happy with our choice. Bill was our main contact and was very helpful and patient as we spent over an hourtasting the many delicious options and discussing prices during our cake tasting. Both the rehearsal and wedding cake turned outeven better than we hoped, and were absolutely delicious!

I absolutely love their cakes cannot go wrong with them doesn?t matter what kind it is. Cakes are very light and not too sweet. Melts in your mouth. I ordered chocolate mouse and it was so good! I am giving four star only for their customer service theycan do better.

Don't order eggless from them! We ordered a simple eggless cake from here for a party and the taste of it was 2/5 stars. I had high expectations knowing the reviews and the presentation but taste was eeeh. I would say there are better options out therefor eggless crowd especially fact that they even charge extra for eggless ones. I bet their cake with eggs are probably betterbut that's not an option for us.

Not fit to sell Birthday Cakes.The lady at the counter had a big scorn on her face. Was so lazy that did not move from her position and wanted me to describe the cake to tell me what its ingredients were. She would be fired in most of the places Iknow, except at funeral parlours.
