Somebody's - Arlington Heights

This is a small hidden old peoples bar that has a limited menu. I love the isolation and small look of the bar hidden in a mostly industrial zone. Nice small seating and a typical strip mall bar setting.

The staff is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. The Christmas decorations are charming, creating a warm and cozy ambiance that makes it feel like home.

The owner and his friends used openly racist language, repeatedly shouting the N-word. When I asked him to ask his friends to tone it down, he just smiled and said that everyone was welcome. I replied that it didn’t seem that way. He shrugged it off, and they continued to drink and laugh. While the bartender and other customers were friendly, the atmosphere changed for the worse as soon as the owner and his group arrived. I’ll take my business elsewhere to places that deserve my support.

I really like this place. The staff is friendly and full of locals just relaxing and watching the game. They don't serve any trendy cocktails with passion fruit and basil—just a really well-made gin and tonic. I'll definitely be returning!

Local place clean speedy for a local bar 9.00 for Beam on the rocks. Good service like the chips for bucket system.
