So I came back on Friday at 12:30 a.m. on the afternoon and they still had it, so I went ahead and ordered. the dining room of this restaurant is very beautiful and they have many tables. the Ajiaco soup was very good. the main plate came with white rice, an salad of avocado and tomato, some mushrooms and some cut aubergines. there was also a small piece of cake for dessert. the aromas of eating were good, similar to other vegetarian restaurants in the environment. what hit me most is that there was almost no protein in the meal, no matter what. Apart from the tiny amount of protein in the rice and the mushrooms the meal was almost free from protein. I actually went out and bought a bag to eat after I had eaten there, because I had just filled in the round on a buck of veggies. they really need to think through what they 'reserve and include some kind of protein as well, tofu, sinceán. everything. I might be able to eat here again, but I would look very carefully at the menu and ask myself before I sit down. they have been in business for many years, so obviously they do something right. Maybe I just met her on a free day, but today it was a disappointment for me. the meal of the day costs 12,000 pesos from October 2018. that is about 20-40% higher than the other veggie places in the city.
BoticaSol is both modern, cheap AND delicious a combination I haven't found anywhere else in Colombia after more than a year of eating. We liked it so much, we went 3 times in 2 days, and ordered a lot: a burger, a coconut curry, a juice, coffee, vegan cheesecake, tofu scramble, smoothies, springrolls, empanadas, pizza AND a falafel wrap all yummy, and most between 3 10,000 each. Make sure to check re dairy/eggs we had to convince two servers that ghee is not in fact vegan.
