As from title a real farm and not one of those places fighetti that declare farm only because they have goats in the lawn around them. here you eat simple but genuine foods, with raw materials from their company. we have always found ourselves well and come back every time we want to make a nice eat; ... here, in fact: go hungry, I recommend, otherwise you will never succeed in finishing everything:
A real farm on all fronts! beautiful location surrounded by greenery and far from the noises of the city and traffic. also has a large internal parking. as soon as you arrive you immediately feel the silence of the hill. the structure is very beautiful and the reception of the staff makes you feel immediately at home with its kindness and professionalism. the raw materials are all produced by the farm and, to the goto, it feels all the flavor of ingredients to meters we were at lunch one Sunday of August. the menu is fixed and is not always the same because it is linked to the seasonality of the ingredients and this is an extra quid!!! in two we ate the antipasto of the house formed by capricious salad, salad of vegetables in agrodolce, salami of the house with focaccia of pastry and cheeses produced by them, all exceptional and very abundant.! First we were served a risotto with the toma, fabulous! As a second we were brought a veal stew and tapulone, accompanied by polenta. seconds that left us breathless for their goodness and quantity! Finally they brought us, like sweets, a tiramisu and a cake of bread drowned in dark chocolate, both enjoying! all accompanied by liters of house wine, coffee made with moka and grappa distilled from them. total cost of lunch: euro! conclusions: what to say? the fixed menu costs euro per head! really lovely place, products and raw materials at meters 0 prepared with mastery, very abundant portions, kindness and courtesy of all the staff and the owner immediately put you at ease as if you were friends, value for money without equal, all to make the Sunday lunch truly unforgettable! Good, good, good. P.S. is better to book for not miss this fabulous experience!
A more bio-diverse landscape encompassing farm and woodland, you will never find where the Tanaro River splits the vineyards of the Barberesco and the Barolo from Roera. Exceptional wines, especially the whites, all crisp, acidic and fragrant. Slap a plate of Salami prosciutto down and find a Roero reserve 2009 to taste the wild boar with. I never tire of snow-caps sitting out there past the hill towns strewn with hills sculpted with vineyards.... and fielding a glass or two of intensely aromatic sparkling Birbet is a crime worth popping.
