Great Wall Restaurant - Armstrong

This is the only Chinese food restaurant in Armstrong. A lot of people rave about the food here but I find it average. Which is ok if you have a sudden craving for Chinese. Not bad but not exceptional. ????

The place has an atmosphere/style of it's own, clean and friendly staff plus it was a friendly community place to eat. The wonton soup was super yummy but the buffet which I'd heard of for some years was a disappointment because of the prawns, which were battered in something hard as a rock and glue. I wasn't able to try the veggies because of a food allergy (mushroom in both dishes) but my fiancé said they were excellent.

If you like fresh veggies and Chinese food that tastes like it did when you were a kid you will love this place. The smorgasbord on the weekends is top notch!

Good chinese food in an easy to find place with affordability. Good service, staff and variety of dishes to choose from.

Ordered take out, when we arrived to pick up the restaurant has great atmosphere, I would like to eat in next time. We order the dinner for eight wow more like for ten. The food was very good vegetables were crisp and the dishes were flavourful. Definitely would eat here again!
