Another 15 minutes before the same waiter brought menus to the table! And I say the same waiter - because there was just 1 for the whole restaurant! By the time we received our main courses (around another 30 minutes later), we were quite famished - thankfully, the 4 small plates of delicious "entradas" saved the hour (and our stomachs)! Aside from the dismal service and 1 overly salty fish soup, the food was fairly tasty and merits another visit (hopefully, when the restaurant finally decides it could do with more serving staff).
My wife had fish, it was really good. I had a local dish based on Pork which was delicious. Desserts are also amazing! Service was nice and efficient.
This place is great for a taste of the south of Portugal, the Alentejo region to be precise. Made with honesty and the best ingredients, the food is the right choice for a cosy meal, plenty of calories and love.
If you want to try or just remember good food from Alentejo this is a really nice restaurant. The food is very good and not very expensive.
This was a most enjoyable lunch. Great service by Pedro. Very happy to help us through the menu. My husband had a fresh Filet of Sole with no bones. Desserts were delicious. Happy St. Martin lunch ended with traditional roasted chestnuts.Thank you. We will be back.
