Deep Blue - Arona

My husband and I were having dinner and the experience is indeed memorable, not in such a good way. The staff mixed up the orders, argued with each other, and one even came to us customers to shout that HE took our order, even though he hadn't. Staff didn't know how to open the wine bottle, but in the end my husband did it, after we had watched in horror for a while how the bottle key was completely bent. In addition, the white wine was warm. When bringing the food, the staff didn't know which all belonged to our portion, neither did we. We had grilled fish for two, we wouldn't eat this again. When we ask for the bill and one waiter brings it to us, another one starts yelling at him and takes the bill from his hand. After a while, he himself brings the bill and asks if it is ours without showing the bill, continues on his way and returns to give the bill. Should have realized to leave already at the point when we couldn't get menus.. avoid the place if you want good food and service.

Just arrived and stopped for a snack and a drink garlic bread and bruschetta was really nice as was the sangria and beer (hubby is fussy about his pint but said it was good) Nice location with the sounds of the sea and the staff were so friendly and welcoming

Worst dining experience I’ve had for decades, so bad I was expecting to be on ‘candid camera’ or something. Staff all at each others throats, half the food come out and half did not appear until complaint, chairs broken, veggie pizza awful no seasoning, 5x vegetarians dining and there was a 23 Euro steak on the bill, just an absolute shambles. Annoying thing is, if we had turned right coming out of Veronica’s as opposed taking a left turn, like we did, there are some superb restaurants. Avoid like the plague….

The steak was awful was supposed to be rare came out well done and didn’t taste like steak it just came out like 3 burger patties. One of our meals was 20 minutes late and we had all finished our food! Then asked to speak to the manager who was the most rude person I’ve ever met and had a stinking attitude and when I spoke to them about the meals and the issues he was very rude and made us out to be lying when we cut the “steak” infront of him and there was nothing rare about it! Will never ever go there again and please don’t bother going there your selves!

Absolutely fabulous the service could not have been better. they did not make a fuss when we wanted to split the bill it was easy. the food was great and very well priced the orange juice was freshly squished orange juice was delicious( a perfect hang over cute). couldn’t recommend more!!!!!!!!!
