La Buena Paella - Arona

Been coming here for years, was always great food, great service and great prices. Went the other night and had our usual meals, lamb shoulder and a mixed grill. In the past we were always asked how we wanted the steak cooking.. Not this time. Asked for the usual mint sauce and they didn’t understand us. The mixed grill was all very dry, cold and overcooked. The wine was very watery and tasteless. We are here staying with friends and have told them to try this restaurant. Thank goodness they didn’t. It’s a great shame after all these years but we won’t be returning.

Absolutely wonderful food, service fantastic very polite staff couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Had just re opened after being closed for a refurb which was well overdue. It is now Chinese owned and run. Same menu too. This is another Spanish restaurant in this area lost. The staff are attentive and pleasant, which is a great improvement on the previous lot who really did care. We have been coming here for years but it might take some time for people to come to terms with these changes and the restaurant was very quiet over the next week or two. The food was the same standard but very slow to arrive, also 7% tax was added to the final bill. Strange.

The brothers who attend are very friends, the place is close to the market on Sundays. So the dishes are very generous and at a good price.

Came here last night had the chicken curry rice and chips, chips were ok rice cold! But the chicken can’t even describe it! Must of been 12 inches long must of been hit with a mallet it was disgusting dry and very chewy no taste at all, service was terrible the big man that works there just tuck are plates without asking or saying was everything ok, wouldn’t recommend this place and will never come here again!!
