Exceptional value (we had the €6.50 menu) and very good food with adequate portion size. Definitely recommend this venue.
Found this by accident walking down the marina to the cruise ship terminal. They offer a lunchtime specials menu varying from €6.50 to €9.50. We had the €6.50 option which consisted of a spring roll followed by chicken or beef stir fry and special rice, just right for a lunchtime meal. The food quality and quantity was excellent value for the cost. We were extremely pleased with all that the restaurant offered.
In retrospect, this and other restaurants on the marina exist to process the cruise ships. There wasn’t one in on the night we walked out from town to try the food. Consequently the place was almost empty and had no atmosphere. The Thai spring rolls to start were delicious, absolutely the best. The Thai green curry chicken to follow was not. It had plenty of decent chicken but low on veg with any texture. Too much onion and delivered in an unappealing gloopy sauce that looked like it had received a lot of attention with cornflour and was very salty. It was brought out on cold plates too. Jasmine rice was plentiful and tasted fine. Overall it fed us but we wouldn’t return.
Disembarking, walking toward the town, this fabulous diner, clean, new, shiny complete with great marina views. lovely menu and very very reasonable eats and drinks
The happy hour and special menu are great value. Try the 20 pieces of Sushi for 10 euro or a three course special for 7 euro.
