The Larribet refuge, located in the Pyrenees Park, is truly a hidden gem in a magnificent natural setting. After a 2.5 hour hike, we arrive at this exceptional place which is definitely worth the detour. Laëtitia, the manager of the shelter, is a real conductor. She manages everything masterfully and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Every year I look forward to returning and enjoying the delicious, simple dishes, prepared with fresh produce from local producers in the valley. It’s a real treat for the taste buds and a way to support the local economy. What makes this experience even more memorable is Laëtitia's accommodating and smiling attitude. She is always there to meet visitors' needs and makes sure everything goes smoothly. His passion for cooking and dedication to customers is evident in every dish and every interaction. It's much more than just a meal, it's a true immersion in nature with exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend this unique experience to all lovers of hiking and local gastronomy. Food drinks: Simple and good dishes. I regularly eat omelettes, red cabbage and blueberry tarts there. Everything is excellent.
First visit during a day hike, Ignacio and Laeticia gave us a very pleasant welcome. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
The only bad thing is that there are no toilets, only latrines. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
A week in the Pyrenees, clearly the best gite we have done! Great welcome, great advice and great generosity for dinner and picnic from the Larribet team! It is also a great point of arrival and departure for several hikes and summits. As well as a great walk along the river to get there from the Tech car park. Only small downside (for those that matter) the toilet and shower area is very small, spartan and above all badly located in the refuge. Refuge welcoming both experienced, novices and families!! Very nice atmosphere!
