Thirty minutes later, two out of the four of us were vomiting, while the other two felt unwell throughout the night. When we eventually returned to the dining room to dispose of the food, the smell was even more overpowering than before. It was evident that they had sent us spoiled or previously dead crab. We called the restaurant before they closed to report the issue, and they promised to call us the next day. Now, at the end of the day, we still haven't received a call, which clearly shows they do not take serving bad food seriously. Our order totaled $238, and we had to throw it all away.
I used to love this place, but I'm really disappointed with the changes they've made to the ordering process. Now you can't customize your order by the pound; you're limited to a handful of preset combos, and there’s only one crab combo available. I really enjoy crab and shrimp, but unfortunately, they have a strict no-substitution policy. I don't like mussels, yet the combo includes them. For $75, I ended up with a lot of items I wouldn't choose. If I could order what I actually wanted, I would have easily spent over $100. They do have à la carte prices listed, but they won't let you order that way. I'm really frustrated with the new policy and won’t be returning. It’s a shame. I recommend going to Claws instead.
My wife and I were there today. 11:10 chairs still on top of tables. I called girl said give me 5 minutes to get the chairs off. We walked in immediately felt unwelcome like we were not welcome. The girl brought the lobster rolls to our table. The lobster was very dry and lots of grease in the tray. Almost tasted like was microwaved. After we were done and walking out, no good bye , no nothing. Later I called to ask for manager, girl asked if there was a problem, I said I would like to speak to the manager, she said, manager is not here-is there a problem? I said I rather just talk with the manager, she said if she comes in she 'll tell the manager to call me. I said I don 't think you will tell the manager to call me.... The girl said ok-have a nice day and hung up on me. I want a refund. Manager: I sent you an email.
This review solely for my personal feeling when I entered this establishment. I was excited seeing there is a Cajun place close by my daughter 's ice skating. I was waiting until she was done, to enjoy our afternoon meal. When I entered the restaurant, I was not greeted by this person. It was only one staff, and the restaurant was empty. I asked how the process was since it was our first time here. She replied to scan the QR code. That was another thing, Covid pandemic already cleared and even providing regular menu, she acted like it was a big no. Anyway that was not a big problem. But her attitude was just rude and condescending. Forget smiling or anything that presented a descent human behavior. She then said no cash, got it. And when I placed an order she told me water was not provided, I had to order bottle water. I told my daughter to get out as I didnt want to spend money in the place that I didnt feel welcome. The staff replied so cancel then? Geez. I replied I didnt feel welcome ever since I walked in here, why would I want to spend money here? Less than 5 min. In and out. So we went to the pho next door. Sorry this review not about the quality of the food, but solely for a very poor customer service.
