However, I visited about 6 months ago and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and generous portions of food. This time was no different. The cheese and ham omelettes were tasty, with high-quality ham and served in large portions. They came with beans and hash browns, making for a satisfying traditional breakfast. The service was friendly and efficient.
After a few visits Ollie's cafe on the green was finally open. Three of us have enjoyed a relaxing time with beautiful views. All three of us highly recommend the homemade rock cakes, they are tasty, light (disputed the name) highly addictive. We are now discussing plans for our next visit
This is a huge plus for us especially in the colder months, that this was the only place (apart from Coffee Corner that takes dogs....inside (true dog friendly . The owner was really friendly, we had the full English that came with a cuppa free refill. Very good value, the bacon was excellent, mushrooms cooked in real butter. Very very nice. He even gave us a sausage for our dog. We will definitely be back. Thank you
Ollies cafe is in a great spot overlooking the bowling green and pier. Recently we had a lovely mug of tea and home made rock cake for only £2 each. The Sunday roast is good too.pleasant staff and you can sit on the terrace with your doggie friend!
Eating outside, with a view of the bowling green and the sea, while enjoying a snack is a delightful experience that will soon come to an end. This cafe, known for its good value and excellent service, is sadly closing at the end of the month as its lease is not being renewed. It is disappointing to see how this closure aligns with the Council's plans for the revitalization of Bognor.
