Ship Anchor Pub - Arun

We were on the camping site and booked a table for 7.00 clock for both of us and our nephew and his wife. the A27 was closed and their arrival delayed. around 7.10 we were called by the website to check the booking. I apologised for the delay and said we were there in a few minutes. We arrived at 7.20 the renter told us very rude and blunt that we were too late and they had closed the kitchen! when we protested at such a high treatment, we were told in uncertain conditions that we should go to another pub! absolutely horrific attitude - we would never see coming here again.

Never anyone ever said so rude enough stay away is all I can say many beautiful places to eat area

Beautiful spears served with a very cheerful attitude. the renter was charming, helpful and very dedicated, she did everything to make our visit as pleasant as possible, even bought a bucket of fresh water for our dogs!

Visit friends after the recommendation, great eating friendly warm welcome great service. will defo back.

Have visited this pub on numerous occasions, the food is home cooked and the fish is always fresh. The host is Joy by name and Joy by nature, she is always welcoming and interested in her customers. I, my wife and friends would thoroughly recommend...this establishment. I am at a loss to understand any negative reviews and would suggest they be ignored try the pub for yourself !!!!
