Sylvan Oak - Arun

I can honestly say I had the best experience and evening at Sylvan Oak. The food was absolutely divine, as were the cocktails. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and made me feel comfortable at the restaurant. There was a lovely live singer there who really made the meal feel more festive (even though I didn’t think that could happen) Such a wonderful evening here. Service: Dine in

We had a lovely evening at Sylvan Oak, the staff were all brilliant and the food was lovely. We had partridge and halibut preceded by top quality starters including scallops, prawns and foie gras pate. Great experience and we will be coming back soon. I love the friendly service which isn't overbearing or too pushy. Highly recommend sitting next to the bar and chatting with the staff there. We learnt a lot just by watching cocktails being made. The Cosmo and Old fashioned were really special. And a 3 course meal is good value with plenty of choice Vegetarian options: There isn't a veggie option here which is a shame as the veggies which accompany all the mains are fantastic! Eg the aubergjne (served with the halibut) is easlily a meal in itself, maybe with a grain like cracked wheat or pearl barley
