Mike's American Diner - Arundel

Good food and excellent service. We had omeletts, reuben sandwich and turkey sandwich. Omelets were thick, but delicate and had many toppings. The toast on reuben was nicely browned, the sandwich had the right balance of dressing, meat and sauerkraut. We were all surprised by Fritten. The turkey sandwich was good, but I would add some dijon mustard and pack more salad in it. Overall, the food was abundant and delicious. Our waitress did a great job, despite eating out in the wind, put out table sets and fit all the dishes on our little table. She talked to us about the food and was generally very pleasant.

Great food and great service! It always looks busy when we drive, so today we decided we would try... 100% worth it!

It's not just a friendly staff, Mike has the best breakfast I've ever eaten. The omelet was perfect, the bacon is crispy, not soggy and flabby, the domestic frits were cooked large, not too salty, they had a scratch outside, but the potato warns burned. The acid toast is also amazing. Everything was cooked for perfection

Best corn cowhash EVA! Just wear a sweater..alittle cool in there!

We visited Mike's about 2:30 on a Saturday, right between the lunch and dinner crowds. Nice layout of the restaurant, a long high table with a TV that look comfortable to sit at. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but since it was slow they let us enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. My wife and I both had the fish and fries sandwich which was deliciously made with a light batter.
