Feedback gevenThis restaurant serves amazing individual pizzas, all cooked to perfection in a stone, wood-fired oven. Each pizza is priced at around $12 and is incredibly flavorful. While the appetizers are decent, they can be a bit disappointing. We were excited to see falafel and hummus on the appetizer menu, but what arrived was not what we anticipated. The falafel had a green color (it should have been made with yellow peas), and some of the peas were undercooked. Additionally, the texture was too mushy; good falafel should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, but this one didn't meet those standards—it would be better described as “faux falafel.” The hummus was similarly lackluster. It wasn't smooth and contained chunks of whole beans. Good hummus should be creamy and flavorful, with a stronger garlic taste.
The pizza was hard as a cracker—completely devoid of substance and flavor. The bacon was barely recognizable and appeared to be raw. The Club Salad was equally unappetizing, featuring wilted lettuce and only a few small pieces of dry chicken. There was no bacon as promised on the menu, just a small cup of store-bought ranch dressing and one tiny slice of bread, all for $9.75. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. Everything came out slowly, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy for a Sunday afternoon. At one point, a busboy dumped waste water from a couple of tables away into a planter right next to us. I was ready to leave in frustration, but most of the customers were too intoxicated to care, and there was no manager in sight—only a tipsy bartender. I feel compelled to share my negative experience with others and will leave no positive credit for this restaurant. The outrageous prices, especially for the gluten-free pizza, are unacceptable given the low quality of food served. I paid $25 for this horrible meal and chose not to leave a tip, although my guests felt compelled to leave $3 as a gesture of mercy. Sadly, mercy is not something we should have to seek when we’ve been overcharged. Beware of this place; it’s not worth it, even at half price.
