Berg's Smoked Meat - Asbury Park

I found this place via Instagram...it is a must! The poutine was excellent and the Montreal meat was savory! The sandwich was piled high with beef brisket seasoned superbly that literally melts in your mouth and holds up on excellent rye bread with just the correct amount of mustard. The cole slaw was perfect and I sampled their dill based potato salad. Counter staff was warm in their welcoming! Will return here!

This place is AWESOME.The best Matzo Ball Soup around and the sandwiches are all outstanding. Haven't even tried their poutine yet ... which seems criminal.Everything is made with high quality ingredients you can taste. Make this your new go-to sandwich shop. You're welcome.

Ordered online from their website and got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich (50/50 , side of potato salad, and the cheese curds. One bite into that sandwich and I was sold. While the $16 price for the sandwich might seem a bit high, it was worth every amazing bite. It's also worth mentioning that the side of potato salad was delicious (major points for the fresh dill! and the cheese curds were also fantastic. Looking forward to making my way through the menu!

So delicious!! 100% worth every penny. Ordered the Thanksgiving, Smoked meat sandwich and turkey sandwich plus a side of poutine. Everything was amazing and they give you so much food. Couldn’t even finish half of the sandwich so I’ll be eating it for dinner!

Best Poutine I’ve had in a long time.I would say that it’s better than some of the places in Montreal.Definitely going back.
