Classic Asbury Park Hangout. Coole Barkeeper und Live-Musik!

For what it is (a beer bar in asbury park that had live music and cheap food and drinks), we couldn’t have asked for more. It’s a step up from a dive bar, in that it’s clean, the food was tasty (not healthy, of course) and cheap! Super friendly staff, and we got to see the U2 cover band, which was awesome. No complaints here, had a great night and didn’t break the bank on this one. Thanks, Wonder Bar!

The beach in the winter. Recent visit to the historic Wonder Bar in Asbury Park NJ. Big Up to Tina and J-Jenn! One could occupy many rabbit holes researching this spot, the people, shows etc. On this day it was lunch. A fresh made beef burger and a local IPA. Accomplished! The burger we shared had swiss and bacon. Cooked how we asked. Nick was a fine server, the facilities were fine as well.

What a great nostalgic place to visit. Also Asbury Park is so much fun. Our waitress was great and the food was awesome

My two times going there was great. I love the little display of vintage local pro wrestler stuff they have set up near the restrooms. Staff is always friendly and professional as heck. The second time I went, a member of our party was giving them an unnecessarily hard time (because she left her ID in the car and had to go back like twenty footsteps to get it) to the point that we were actually embarrassed. And our server remained super nice and a pro throughout the whole embarrassing ordeal. It would've been understandable had she not though. Food is good however. Hard to mess up bar food anyway. Plus there's live music at certain times. It's a yes from me.
