Mountain View Chalet - ASBURY

We never have a bad meal at Mountain View Chalet. Quality and quantity is superb. We no longer live in NJ but make a point of dining there during a stop back to see friends and family.

This restaurant is a local gem. Classic menu entrees beautifully preserved made with top quality ingredients. Wonderful service! And a beautiful setting surrounded by nature just off the highway. Great value for a nice dinner out.

Everything about our experience at Mountain View Chalet was perfect. We especially enjoyed the tableside Cherries Jubilee preparation. The chef really know how to chef! Our appetizers, salad, and mains were absolutely amazing.

Sorry, we went for Mother's Day for a 6:00 reservation I made a month prior. I didn't know it was going to be a buffet and that wasn't great for my 88 year old Mother in Law. The food was not that hot. It normally is great. I guess it is my fault for not checking with the restaurant itself and just using open table.

This is not our first trip here. We are always very happy with the service and the food. It's a nice quiet setting with plenty of cocktails and wines to choose from to go along with your meal. The sea bass and risotto was cooked to perfection, as was the Veal marsala.
