I enjoyed a lovely walk at Carsington Water today. The weather was beautiful, which made the day even more enjoyable. The restaurant was quite busy, but the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to have lunch after finishing the 8-mile loop around the reservoir. The restaurant is clean and bright, boasting a stunning view of the water. The menu offers a variety of options, with daily specials available as well. Our drinks arrived just before our meal; both the tea and coffee were enjoyable, but the hot chocolate was a bit weak and lacked real flavor. For lunch, we ordered sandwiches and bowls of chips, both of which were of good quality. We also picked up some cake to take home, and it was delightful. Overall, it's an excellent spot to stop by if you’re at Carsington Water.
