Best hot dogs I ever had in a restaurant. Chicago dog a real novelty for our area and Carolina dog can be in this state together with any other. The Viennese cattle dogs are excellent, like the poppy beans. And to complete it from my wife was able to get a gluten-free dog and bread. Chicago memorabilia is neat and makes almost for the omnipresent Fox News. Second trip: On a last day tour to break the pandemic routine, we decided to eat at Mike's. Great location in downtown Ashboro, with a large park nearby to sit and enjoy the day. Everything was hot and delicious. Our favorite was the Fritten. They offer white with or without natural shell. We've been there and will try without our next visit.

I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and have been here at least 20 times since they opened. The prices for the hot dogs are a bit high, but they are of high quality and not something you could easily find elsewhere. The chili is excellent, so the chili cheese dog is also delicious. They use steamed rolls for their hot dogs, but you can request them dry if you prefer. The fries are double fried, so they stay crispy even with chili cheese on top. The beer prices are the best in the city, and the pizza puff is a must-try. In light of COVID-19, the staff has started wearing masks, but they have always been diligent about hand washing and keeping the place clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys hot dogs and a great local dining experience.
