Great all vegan food trucks! Since I found it first, I find myself going to their website to review the schedule so I can go back. I tried The Town Gyro, the Crabby Patty, the Fritten, and the roasted Brussels and everything was delicious! Tested the new “Cluckin’ Good Sandwich... pure vegan food! They start with a homemade “Kick’n” Patty (I love it that they make almost everything themselves! that was fried “buttermilk” on a homemade bungalow. You top it with smoked onion Jalapeño Marmelade, Pickles and “Alabama White bbq Sauce” to complete this super delicious Sammy! I chose the hand-cut pumice with smoked onions for the choice of sides. I love to support this business... great food and really nice owners... not that many common people would start a vegan food truck! I tried several articles. Give 5 stars on the basis of Gyro alone. It is currently my favorite Veg court in Asheville. Both since and pita are house made. Cool looking, clean truck with staff.

Smokin Onion has become one of our new favorite places, especially because it all went vegan a few months ago. The Brussel shoots are soooo good. I tried something else on the menu I didn't like, but highlights for me were the Gyro, Kabby Patty Sandwich, and the jackfruit bbq roasted green tomato sandwich. Service is also really fast! They are usually at large places all weekend, so it's easy to find them from their Instagram page. Updated by previous review on 2022-08-15

We really enjoyed the food from this vegan truck! BBQ mushroom wrap, jackfruit “crab” cakes, their fries are great also! They were at The Highlands East Asheville, which was a nice spot to spend a couple hours and enjoy local craft beer/cider.
