Asheville Commissary

So I have to say... I drive by this place every day on sweeten creek.. One day I decided to drop by here and invest into the local food.. To be honest, I wish I had stopped by here a long time ago!! I have brought 2 friends by here now but every time the specials are different and that 's what I usually order lol. I always get the same reaction omg this is the best sh*t ever! Stop reading this- ! Go get some awesome food that is local to Asheville and local beer!

LOVED this little place. I definitely have some recommendations, but I was so impressed with the simplicity and good quality, I'm still giving it 5 stars. First of all, the service was amazing. The server and food truck worker were kind and attentive. The food- AMAZING. F2F is great. The fish tacos could have used more fish, but the spices and variety of food (beans, rice, greens, feta/goat) was outstanding. It was such healthy comfort food. Same goes with my partners BLT. Great quality, impeccable taste. Local ingredients that were simple yet so tasty. Th vegetable side was awesome, too. The place is WAY cuter than cluttered cin-toms (although those people were so nice and the custard amazing). There is lovely little tables and great art. Love the crafty lights, but it was a little dark. GO HERE. SO SO amazing. Loved it.

Wow. That BLT. WOW! Fried green tomato, crisp, thick bacon and generous...very generous portion of creamy goat cheese on a wonderfully-made artisan roll. The chips are so amazing you'll never want for fries you know that feeling). They won BEST burger in MTNX...the BLT might be next. Clean, bright and cool indoor spot to eat, but with food this good who's paying attention? They have beer, too.

We came as new customers to a new neighborhood restaurant with taps of local beer and interesting food. Don't be deceived by the small size the food is superb, as is the friendliness of the staff. A great experience close to home. We'll be here a lot!!
