This place is so beautiful, unique and special. It has the elegantly meditative, natural, artistic, peaceful interior you'd hope for in a tea room, and it's small and personal with amazing service. They really care about what they do here. The tea is served with a whole traditional Chinese-tea process which is really lovely, and the guy (maybe the owner? explains it all but he is also super relaxed and authentically nice and gives the whole place such a welcoming feel. The food is also designed with care and is beautiful and delicious.

The spicy pork noodle soup was absolutely delicious, as was the matcha teamisu.The tea, of course, was lovely and the selection was varied.

I’d been wanting to go here for quite some time and it was well worth the wait! It’s gorgeous inside lots of natural light, wood details, plants everywhere and so serene. Tried the ube steamed bun and spiced tea amisu, with the Tiger’s Eye and traditional matcha to drink. Wow! So so good. Can’t wait to go back!

Great tea shop for the experienced or novice. Hunter does awesome job of explaining the teas and best ways to utilize it. Just an all around good guy that has so much knowledge. Hunter procures the tea himself from places in China than have been cultivating it for thousands of years. You will leave here knowing more than you knew before you came in . Go get some tea from High Climate and enjoy the awesome atmosphere. Also since I’m from out of town he does ship, which a plus with an easy website to order from.

Four stars only because they're all the way in Asheville and I live in Nashville. They continue to be my go-to place to order tea from (eagerly awaiting their next shipment for my Sticky Rice Puerh tea fix) and I have yet to find a restaurant near me that sells authentic mochi that isn't ice cream. I even tried to make them myself, and they didn't come near the devine little delicacies I had while I was there. Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable and our experience only furthered my addiction for tea. Please expand to Tennessee!!
