Korean House - Asheville

Excellent dinner if you want to try something else. we had ordered the cooking table some marinaded bark meat, pork and chicken. nice came with the meat together with the appetizers bowls with kim chi, pean sprouts, spiced pickel and other items. also order a bowl yue kee jang suppe and shared with our guest. they had never been in a Korean style restaurant and talked very much about their culinary experience with us. I asked for a spicy dipping sauce and they brought a bowl of spicy beans. after adding a small soy sauce, yes, but not really spicy only a little spicy. when we visit asheville again, we will return here definitiw.

Eating is amazing. I eat a vegetarian diet and they have many entree options that are clearly identified on the menu. our waitress was phenomenal. it was my first time with Korean cuisine and she offered many suggestions and even a sample of kimchi that I could try before ordering. only for the plate, I loved the kimchi and the kimchi pouring appetizer was wonderful. I can't expect to go back and try some of the other vegetarian options.

I’ve eaten here a few times and every time the food is great. My last visit I grilled meat and shared appetizers and a stone bowl. We really liked the grill and the stone bowl. I really love the little sides they bring with the grill. Lots of options for gluten free as well.

Great Korean food and very good service. They have an 11 dollar lunch buffet I had today and it was delicious. Love the place. Great downtown location. Overall very good.

3/26/19 Dropped it to a 4 star. They took the omurice off the menu. What a find in Asheville! They have OMURICE. I kinda wish I never sat down here cause I have to eat around in Charlotte knowing the best Korean restaurant imo is 2+ hours away. I will have to stop by this place at least once every time I'm in this area. A great experience, awesome decor, super friendly customer service, omurice and delicious SIZZLING food! I don't what else to ask for! Plus they have OMURICE!!!! Omg, heaven!
