Montford Deli - Asheville

It's a very nostalgic kind of place, they had a veggie burger it was Beyond or Impossible, I do not remember) great fries and a delicious banana pudding, exactly the kind of dinner I was wanting and the young folks working there were just delightful.Vegetarian options: They had a veggie burger, it is an old time independent burger kind of place and I wasn't looking for healthy food today, I wanted to experience this place and having a veggie burger I felt was a welcome accommodation and I now wished I had tried the onion rings.

Tried Montford Deli for first time last night. Food was good, people were friendly, however, I despise paying $3.00 for a fountain coke and wonder why you are asked to leave a tip when you have to order and pick up your own food at the counter and then clean up. I waited on myself.

We always order three large Rubens with a large fry. And every time we are not disappointed at all! In our household this has become the epicenter for a fast hot and delicious meal! Watching the kitchen staff cook, I have to say I am very impressed with the sanitation standards this establishment upholds! Great place for a hot sandwich would recommend to anyone looking for flavor!

The food is delicious, and the service is even better! Everyone is sweet! We’re lucky to have them near us, but we’d drive to visit them, too!

We stopped in for an early breakfast this morning and really enjoyed it! We've gotten lunch there a few times as well and it's delicious. The staff is always friendly and they seem to really care about our experience. Had a nice biscuit with a crispy hashbrown and the price was affordable! Nice place to have in town. And I love the dinosaur decor.
