Pillar Rooftop - Asheville

Pillar Rooftop Bar is fantastic! It boasts one of the best views in the area. My favorite drink was the Smokey Pig. They have a wide selection of local draft beers along with a full bar. The rooftop features cozy, comfortable couches, making it feel like a living room in the sky. It's the ideal spot for small to medium-sized groups and conveniently located just a block away from the busy downtown Asheville scene.

What an amazing rooftop bar! I would never have expected this from a Hilton Garden Inn. The bartender crafted delicious special Blood Orange Margaritas that were absolutely phenomenal. I also had a great time with the vintage cigarette machine they repurposed!

I've been eager to experience the views from Pillar for some time, and it certainly lived up to my expectations! I've visited all the rooftop bars at nearby hotels, and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. They offer a nice selection of local beers on tap along with a creative craft cocktail menu. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is excellent. Plus, you can get your parking validated, which only costs $1 an hour. I’ll definitely return to try some food!

We were not super impressed with the rooftop bar. The views are nice but there are many rooftops in front of it. There are a few tables and sofas outside, but it's a smaller patio space so I recommend getting there early if you'd like a seat with any kind of view. The cocktail menu was a bit pricey and we did not like the speciality cocktails we tried. We walked here from downtown and it's pretty far out of the way.

Do not go here to eat. Very limited menu and the food is awful. Margarita pizza was frozen pizza quality at best. Adult grilled cheese wasn?t grilled or fried. Cheap dry white bread that was baked without a drop of butter. Croutons on salad were stale. The drinks, and location are great. Food for a Hilton was embarrassing
