Sand Hill Kitchen - Asheville

I 've heard great things about the fried chicken sandwich from this place and finally tried one yesterday. It is, in my opinion, the best fried chicken sandwich in Asheville. Super crispy, well seasoned, with just enough pimento cheese and herbed mayo to compliment the chicken flavor, not cover it up. And fresh quick pickles add to the crunch. A great sandwich!! And the pasta salad was a nice surprise...old fashioned macaroni salad with celery, pimento and peas in a tangy mayo dressing. Just like my grandma made. Another plus to my plate. Parking: It 's located inside a corner gas station convenience store, but it 's roomy with several tables for dining on site

I mean. Its good! But i got takeout. And i was disappointed about some of my meal.

Amazing sandwiches,was very surprised with the attention to detail and quality of ingredients. Sandwich selection was very varied which isn’t usually the case . Overall a great place if you can make it there while its open considering its hours. Note: presentation was great too but It was so good that I forgot to take a proper picture before digging into it
