We had reservations here for our anniversary dinner. Since we were traveling to Asheville with our dog, we had done extensive research for dog friendly restaurants in town. Ukiah had rave reviews as far as dog accommodation across multiple websites, so we booked our reservation. We received a call several hours before our reservation telling us their patio is only seasonal and not able to accommodate dogs, so we had to cancel. I understand patios being seasonal but please at least post this somewhere on your website or on OpenTable. The climate is mild in Asheville at the end of February so we would have no reason to think the patio would be closed. There was nothing indicating that the patio was closed on any website- if we had known this we would not have reserved. Unfortunately with such short notice we struggled to find somewhere else to eat to celebrate our anniversary.
I can’t say enough great things about our dining experience at Ukiah! We had a table for 10, did the tasting menu, and everything was so on point. I’ve lived and dined here for almost 20 years, and this is seriously some of the best food in Asheville. The pacing was perfect for the coursed meal, the serving sizes were plenty, and the service… THE SERVICE! They knocked it out of the park; even accommodating our 1 pescatarian friend. Thank you for a truly great night!
Dined for a second time for Chef's creative menu offering. A great value at $38.00 and it gives a coursed dinner through the menu. Favors and presentation were excellent. Zander provided great service and knowledge to our table.
What an amazing experience we had on Saturday. Jeremy and Xander were absolutely awesome, I can tell they have a great manager and hostess. They made sure we felt welcomed, found us a table (lucky for us, since we didn't have a reservation). Food is top notch and so are drinks. Definitely will highly recommend it.
