People were taking a really long time at their tables. There was no urgency to turn tables. There were long delays between service check ins. It appeared that the restaurant was really understaffed. Attention was turned to large parties inside and the tables outside were ignored. We had a puppy so we are forced to sit outside on the patio and people were hording tables outside on the patio.We had a reservation yet we could not be accommodated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. Then we were rushed due to closing while other tables had been in place for two hours or more.
This was our first time eating at this restaurant. I was somewhat disappointed in our dinner at Village Social. I had the grilled ribeye steak. It was tough and lacked flavor. My wife had the trout and said that it was very good. The service was good but overall, I have to say that I expected better from a Biltmore Estate restaurant.
