When I complained to the chef, he had the audacity to tell me to let him know next time if I prefer my eggs soft or hard. I was shocked. I question whether he is truly a chef. I suggest avoiding this place.
The staff were unfriendly and the value for money was very poor. My panini had a small amount of ham and hardly any cheese. Definitely not worth £4.50.
I have had positive experiences at this restaurant in the past, especially with one very friendly staff member. However, today I was disappointed to be told that I couldn't sit at a 4-chair table in case a family of 4 came in. Interestingly, an elderly couple who were only 2 people were allowed to sit at the table I was denied. This felt like discrimination to me. I ordered beans on toast with 2 sausages for over £6, while my friend ordered a breakfast for just over £5. The pricing seemed inconsistent and confusing.
The restaurant offers delicious breakfast and dinner at very affordable prices. It is clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, there is not much of a view to enjoy. It may not be the best choice for those looking for a scenic spot to relax, but the food is still very enjoyable.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I had visited before and everything was fine, but this time when I ordered breakfast, I didn't realize until two bites in that the bottom of the bread roll was moldy. I tried calling the restaurant but couldn't get through, and even Uber Eats didn't provide much help despite sending them a photo. Disappointing.
