Vuocolo's Italian Pizzaria

Excellent food and wine selection. Probably the best pizza in Tennessee. The ride worth... just about 25 minutes from downtown Nashville... I 40W to Briley N to Ashland City Highway, Left, go about 10 miles to 2. traffic lights, left, right in the shopping center.

Great Italian food especially for a small town! We were here several times. The owners are very friendly and the food would be worth the ride from anywhere! Food in or through, the food is exceptional!

I wish I hadn't walked this place so often for less food and service next door or over the street. How cool is it to have a great Italian restaurant in Ashland City! I've eaten twice here and enjoyed it both times. Great food, healthy portions, and especially great and friendly service. Clean and pleasant inside. Safe and plentiful parking. Immediately greeting and sitting, and super attentive servers. Never rushed, even though I both came too late. Every worker greeted me with a smile and asked if I were okay. Love given to draw on the paper tablecloths, but it is actually quite cozy and romantic. Happy with my new found place when I need to repair a pizza or pasta!

It is always an amazing culinary experience here and the food is amazing! 2 nights before, my wife and I went back to a more trendy restaurant in Indy, and for the 2 of us for 1 appetizer, 2 Entrees and 1 Dessert, with lace, was $310. At Vuocolos, the 7 of us had an amazing dinner, 2 appetizers, 7 salads 7 entrees and it was $260 with lace. On the other hand, we complained about how we just didn't really care about our ducks at Vuocolos, all commented on how wonderful everything was.

The food is very authentic!! So much flavor and handmade. One of the best pizzas if had in a long time. Friendly staff but the waiter needs to slow down and listen when you place your order. Also it was nice seeing the owner/possibly just the manager, walk through mingling with the patrons. The 5 star is for the food and atmosphere, a 2 star would be for the server we had.
