Shanks Rest - Ashland

Had my daughters wedding reception here on Saturday, and I must tell you absolutely amazing staff, great atmosphere, wonderful food and beautiful facility. The staff united with the guests, but never stopped moving and keep plates and cups cleaned. I couldn't have been happier. Even the golf professional/manager for the facility was on hand and helped with everything. I recommend to anyone to call Emily McKinley the sales, marketing and event coordinator for all your special events. She's the best. Or just eating a bite. Your food is amazing in the restaurant.

This is a fantastic restaurant that we visit regularly. The food is consistently excellent. I've noticed that Nathan, the manager, stays very active when the waitstaff is busy. However, tonight we saw him in the back, where he seemed to be focused on food and drinks instead. On a positive note, the owner, Dr. Peck, is always very welcoming and makes an effort to greet customers. I highly recommend stopping by!

Shanks is undoubtedly the best restaurant we have discovered in Ashland. The food is consistently excellent—definitely don't miss the fried fish! They frequently host live entertainment, and the outdoor seating is always a pleasure. My only minor issue is that there seems to be limited seating, so on particularly busy nights, you may have to wait. Overall, we absolutely love it!

Absolutely amazing! Nice in and out and service is wonderful. Food is incredible and the staff is amazing and very friendly. 100% recommend all try this place for your self.
