Goddess Wine House - Ashtabula

Goddess is one of our favorite wines from the region. We like to support the smaller business! It is not on the usual way of the rest, but it is usually worth the trip.

Friendly friendly staff. Stop #4 on the Tannebaum Wine Trail for us. They delivered a tomato soup. Nice and warm. Wine tasting. Enough place to enjoy. We didn't take part, but that looked like it was funny. There are 18 stops on the Tannebaum Trail. Stop picking up your tree. Each stop will give you an ornament. It was $65 per couple. It takes four weekends. Great idea.

Beautiful lady and the place is beautiful inside. Walls covered with lots of fun items and characters. Clean food. I was sad to hear that no half-sweet wine remains until I have eaten another month. I tried a more dry wine, but not my taste, but drank everything as good wine. Not many dishes. My foot long hot dog was very good and not a standard hot dog taste. Meat flavor. No beautiful views like directly at the Rt 20 in Saybrook area. But soft curtains hide the street. Some nights a band and karaoke?.

This place is totally amazing. !!! Drove up from Marion Ohio just to check out wineries and picked this one for the Goddess name. (Cause we are five Goddesses you know) The atmosphere is historic and the signs are so cool to read and enjoy. The owners are so nice and helpful. Great place to celebrate a 30th birthday. Wine samples are a great way to decide on which amazing wines to settle on for the night. This is a perfect neighborhood watering establishment and I highly recommend The Goddess as a great experience for anyone with a desire for a Cheers atmosphere. We will return soon. 1st stop on our self made wine tour. Great place to start. Wine was good and owner was super friendly. She pointed us in the direction of craft fairs and delicious bbq!
