Really interesting. Loads of wild-life Sadly, a bit spoilt by fly-tipping and illegal motocross bikers.

A great cycle route to clear the cobwebs,explore the great outdoors and to clear the mind working for the ambulance service!....relaxation!

Lovely site, some fascinating history about the 200+ year old former industrial site, from metal work, cottonmill, railway, quarry and coal mines. Little remains now but you can still see traces amongst the countryside. Well worth a wonder, typically quiet, peaceful and a few bits to see. Lovely area to walk the dog.
