I recently visited a Turkish restaurant that also offers Norwegian dishes with Vietnamese influences. I ordered shish kebab, which turned out to be lamb fillet. It was clear that the staff didn't have a good grasp on the menu. I would have preferred a Vietnamese meal. The food was tasty, but when I asked for cooked potatoes, I was given the option of fried or au gratin potatoes alongside my Turkish dish. The overall atmosphere reminded me more of a casual cafeteria than a traditional Turkish restaurant. I would not recommend this place and do not plan to return.
The food and service were both good, but the price was okay. With an upgrade of the room, it could potentially get 5 stars. Nonetheless, it was a positive experience. Thank you, Ephesus.
This restaurant is far from authentic Turkish cuisine. The meat is overwhelmed by the sauce, which is not helped by the fact that it's from toro. It is definitely not worth the money - I had a terrible dining experience here. The only positive aspect was the attractive waiter. I do not recommend eating here.
A Turkish restaurant in Norway that is run exclusively by Asians. At least all the waiters were Asian Was assigned a table with a slightly dirty tablecloth. The slightly 'funny ' waiter brought a menu which consisted mostly of tenderloin of beef in various versions. When the food arrived, the meat was covered in a lot of sauce. Not possible to see what judgment was hiding under. The animal from which the tenderloin came had to be a monster if the diameter of this tenderloin said anything about it. Much larger than all tenderloins I 've seen.... Maybe a little anemic also from the color of the meat.. My dish was something like 'Black Sea Dark Pot/Secret ' or something. Lots of onions, some paprika and a few pieces of meat. And some cheese on top to make it all a bit elegant. All drowned in a dark pepper sauce and served in a small clay pot. The meat tasted a bit like liver and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of the one you buy in the grocery store. But a little darker. Not very impressed, but the company was good so the evening was good nonetheless Giving more than three stars would be very wrong in my opinion.
